1. Who we are
'Poker Genius', 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to the people who operate this Site and this software. There is no company behind Poker Genius, and no name is published here. If you need to reach us for any reason covered by this policy, write to support@pokergenius.com.
2. What this Site collects
This Site collects one thing: the email address you give us when you join the beta list. That is all. We do not ask for your name, and nothing else on this Site is collected, watched or recorded.
3. Where it is stored and for how long
The beta list is run by Brevo, an email service based in France, inside the European Union. When you submit the form, Brevo sends you a confirmation email, and your address is only added to the list once you click the link inside it. Before that click, you are not on the list.
We keep your address for as long as the beta is running, or until you unsubscribe, whichever happens first. Every email we send carries a one click unsubscribe link.
4. No analytics on this Site
This Site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising code of any kind. We do not know how many people visit, where they came from, or what they do on the page. Fonts are served from this Site itself rather than from a third party, so loading a page here makes no request to anyone but us, aside from the request your own browser makes when you submit the beta form.
6. Data in the Poker Genius simulator
This section is a different subject from the rest of this page. Accounts and the hosted simulator do not exist yet: running the simulator on our servers is still being built. This section describes how it will handle your data once it launches.
- Hosting is in the European Union (Germany or Finland). Data belonging to users in the EU does not leave the EU.
- Signing in uses a magic link sent to your email address. There is no password, so we never hold one.
- Hand history is kept for as long as your subscription is active, plus 90 days after it ends, and is then deleted.
- You can export or delete your own data yourself, at any time.
- The product carries no analytics, tracking or telemetry.
7. Your rights
Wherever data protection law gives you rights over your data, including the GDPR if you are in the EU or the EEA, you can ask us to let you see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or hand it to you in a portable form, and you can object to how we use it. Write to support@pokergenius.com to use any of these. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country at any time.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page always shows when it last changed. If a change affects what we do with your beta list address in a way that matters, we will say so in an email before it takes effect.
